On January 11th, Wingcoimbra got together at the guesthouse Casa de Pombal to welcome 2013 . New members have joined “the regulars”, which made the first meeting of the year gratifying and exciting . Nothing better than start the new year being with old friends and meeting new ones.
Contrasting with the cold grey weather outside, the atmosphere in the cosy dining room got warmer and warmer with conversation, excellent food prepared by Else and Anja and Filipa Pato’s rosé, opened, as per usual by our “expert” Antoinet! Anja gave her the title of “Opperplopper”. And suddenly the room was filled with happiness and laughter . What better way to start the year and face the overused word “crisis”.

But we, the organization, also arranged new meetings. Just to arouse your curiosity, our talk on March 8th, whose title cannot yet be revealed, promises to be of special interest to all of us, from the youngest to the oldest, none of whom is immune to the aging process.
Sandra Naranjo, our speaker, gave a workshop entitled “A Healthy balance from our body posture”. After a brief theorectical introduction, she suggested, in her gentle manner, some useful exercises and activities for strengthening and stretching our muscles, raising awareness about the importance of good posture. We did try to do some of the exercises, which was really fun.
